Hi guys
Today we've got a good mate writing about his favourite team, Liverpool. His name is Craig & what I love about Craig is his passion for his team.
Is "next season is our season" ever going to come true? I (MUFC supporter) actually believe so, although I think it will come with time and bucketloads of patience from the fans. Without hope, there is nothing. If you aren't believing in your team, do you expect fans of other teams to believe in you? Craig brings us lots of hope & belief in his team so take 5 minutes to read his aspirations for LFC in 2012/13:
It's with extreme pleasure that I give you Craig's 'Liverpool Football Club' 2012/13 edition:

Liverpool
Football Club
In
2 Saturday’s from now we, as football fans, get to witness the start of a brand
new Barclay’s Premier League season.
It’s
been a long wait since May to see the lads in action; luckily there was some
football to keep our minds from going crazy.
The
game I will look forward to, come Saturday 18th of August 2012, is
Liverpool Football Club who are away to West Bromwich Albion, of course I
support LFC.
It’s
been a tough time for my beloved Reds, 4 managers in 3 years, about 2 days away
from going into administration in 2010, bad investments concerning players and
a lack of goals have all contributed to LFC struggling to get that all
important Champions League spot and that very elusive first premier league
title.
So
where to for Liverpool in 2012/13?
A
new manager with new ideas, 3 of our players out of the door so far with 2 or 3
more earmarked to leave in the next 3 weeks.
We’ve
been linked from everyone from Theo Walcott to Rasmus Elm. What we need are
classy players who want to wear that famous Red shirt with the Liverbird on
their chest. They must be willing to fight for the team and leave everything
they have on the field, something that ex player Dirk Kuyt use to do all the
time.
I
think we are a striker, wing and at least a left back short, I don’t know
whether Borini is the key to unlocking our goal drought we had last season,
let’s hope there will be a few more signings before August 31.
Speaking
of signings, we have been linked quite heavily to Swansea midfielder Joe Allen,
who after only one season in the Premier League is now valued between 15-20
million pounds, I think that’s a bit ridiculous, but clearly Rodgers sees him
as an integral part of his “tika-tika” philosophy. Unless you watched a lot of
Swansea over the past two seasons, you will probably also be one of those
asking “Who is Joe Allen?”
This
is him, in the picture, lets hope his worth it.
Realistic
expectation for this year for the Mighty Reds?
I
have been so tired of those “it’s a rebuilding phase” that I can no longer
stand people who say this, we are Liverpool Football Club, we should be up in
the top 3 places of the English Premier League. I did some research with
regards to league standings over the past 13 seasons and at least 4 of these we
were in a position to win the league.
We
lost the league by between 2 and 9 points and the team above us only won 2 to 3
games more than us. LFC need to learn to beat every team and to give up until
that final whistle at the end of the 90 minutes.
Brendan
Rodgers speaks of “tika-tika” football, total football, and I hope he drills into the importance of
finishing teams off and not letting up even if we up by 3 goals. I expect LFC
to be in the top 3 places at the end of the season, but for that we need to add
to a depleting squad.
My
league table at the end of the season would be TOP 4: City, United, LFC,
Chelsea 5-9: Arsenal, Spurs, Newcastle, Swansea, Everton 10-16: Sunderland,
Stoke, Fulham, Norwich, Aston Villa, WBA, QPR, 17-20: Reading, West Ham, Wigan,
Southampton.
Be
interesting to see what happens during the season ad of course the banter will
be great as always.

Thanks for that Craig!!
Have you got similar expectations as Craig? Let us know below & give him a follow on Twitter. He's a top bloke, a member of the LFC Supporters Club in Cape Town & you'll find him there on matchday.
My prediction: 19/20th (depends if West Brom bring their "A" game)
Controversy: Joe Allen actually turns out to be the black Lionel Messi & everybody eats humble pie.
Disclaimer: We at Footiecall are not sure what Joe Allen looks like. We heard he was of African descent. If this is not Joe, please let us know.
